Episode 07: SxSW Notes and stories

Saturday, March 25th, 2006

Perhaps the most entertaining podcast to date, I decided to do a solo-cast seeing as how my guests were not around and I’d like to keep these coming out to you as consistent as possible. For those of you looking for just a good ‘ol laugh and some good story telling, this episode is for you.

In this episode

I talked about my experience and run in with Jeffrey like the little school girl that I am. You’ll also hear a bit on what went down with Cameron as well as a recent purchase I’ve made from the Apple Store.

Congrats on your mac purchase! You absolutely must do one thing. Download Quicksilver. Yes, right now. It will make everything you do easier and more pleasant :)

Nice podcast. I do have to agree that the banjo in the background was a good touch. :) I’ll be looking forward to the next episode.

That was a great podcast. I’m looking forward to the “women of web standards” edition. I don’t have any questions to submit as of yet, but that’s an all-star cast for sure. Congrats again on the new mac…but don’t overlook it as just a podcast creator. Get yourself some Textmate, Quicksilver, and Adium. It’ll soon become your favored OS and you’ll only be remoting into your pc occasionally to test websites in IE.

By the way, you’re now #2 in Google for “Cameron Diaz nude”.

    Hi Dustin,

Your intro just rocks man! The background music was a really touch of perfection. The quality of the podcast is increasing by leaps and bounds by every episode.

    Keep it up man.

[…] It’s a sunny day and I finally found the time to listen to long podcasts (sunbathing with headphones). I was looking for a report from SxSW06 and found SxSW Notes and stories, episode 7 of an ongoing series of podcasts made by Dustin Diaz. I especially liked the story about meeting Jeffrey Zeldman wondering what will happen if I do go to London and be in the same room as some of these people. Add to bookmarks, Digg, Reddit, Del.icio.us, Ma.gnolia, Technorati. […]
