"As a web developer, you'll already know that JavaScript™ is a powerful language, allowing you to add an impressive array of dynamic functionality to otherwise static web sites. But there is more power waiting to be unlocked--JavaScript is capable of full object-oriented capabilities, and by applying OOP principles, best practices, and design patterns to your code, you can make it more powerful, more efficient, and easier to work with alone or as part of a team."

Hi Dustin, I’m from Brazil and working to a Miami based company, developing a product. My interface is inteirily based on YUI and YUI-EXT… sooner or later we’ll need some professional javascript skills to solve some “unsolvable” problems… all projects got that. If it interests you, we can talk about a contract for you as a consultant… just let me know if you have interest. Thanks and keep up the good work! Ved

What does EOM mean?
March 30th, 2007 at 3:42 am
@Mike - EOM stands for “End Of Message”. I would assume it is a play on the programming term EOF which stands for “End of File”.
March 30th, 2007 at 3:43 am
Dustin if those “other things” you are looking into don’t work out, Meebo is right up your alley and not too far from you geographically (well, relative to how far they are from me, anyway).

I saw a “help wanted” sign at the swanky gentlemans club around the corner but I think your over-qualified for that position. ;)
Good luck with the hunt.

[…] When a man is out of a job, he’s gotta do something to keep his head above the sand. Doing nothing in the Silicon Valley is a very expensive hobby that one can’t keep up very long. With that in mind, I am now resorting to selling some of my own valuables to make money. Enter Ebay. […]

You should consider a long vacation? Tenerife??

[…] So things have been a little quiet around here during the last few weeks with the exception of naked day which happened at a very awkward time this time around. But as you all know I have been searching for new employment as noted in a recent entry labeled “hire me” which has been taking up most of my time. I received some comments through the thread, but not nearly as many emails. The fact is that I never even had to put my resumé on a job board. I must certainly say that I am most definitely flattered by everyone’s proposal and I can’t pick all of them. The best part is that very little of them were recruiters, but instead actual managers and folks in a group looking to have me on their team. […]

Hello Dustin!
Are you interested in the front-end UI engineering group at Apple? Jina Bolton (on our team) gave me your resume, and I think we should talk!
