I’ve met my twin: Simon Collison

Tuesday, November 1st, 2005

Ever since my Dad left before I was born, I’ve often wondered what my half-brothers& sisters were like. I never met them, but I know they’re out there. Simon, are you one of them? See for yourself:

This is most freaky first thing on a Wednesday morning. I don’t see any similarity anyway - my hat clearly has more stripes than yours - and they’re much thinner stripes. Also, my t-shirt is black, whereas yours is white.

    Hehe!

(PS- Colly: You must have looked like David Wailliams in the light of the hall because there you look like Simon Pegg. :p)

Hmm.. Given what Simon has to say, its obvious that one of you is the evil twin :-)

  4. Jason Beaird

I’ve got great news for both of you…we’ve found your father.
    …and another half brother.
    :-)

    Dude Simon,
I thought it was the wierdest thing ever. I don’t know how many times I’ve read entries on your blog… it never occurred to me to check out what you look like.

You even freaked out my wife. I remember ’cause I was like

Babe, Come down here and check this out, what do you think of this photo of me?

    And she was like

Oh look it’s Beanie (my nickname - I have about 20 Beanies (touques)), where did you get that beanie?

    Then I said:

Actually, that’s not my beanie… and actually, this ain’t even me

She didn’t believe me at first, but of course after looking at the fine detail, she could tell the difference. Nevermind that fact, she still thought you were cute.

I’d contact U2, because you both look like The Edge.
