That Austin thing in 07

Wednesday, March 14th, 2007

Came, and went. Met more new and exciting people. Did all that after-panel stuff… drank the free beer. Extremely exhausted. Panel went well. Apparently the way I speak sounds very similar to the way I’m writing this post now. Thoughts sort of some what scattered and stuff. Doesn’t really matter. Anyway.

Jeremy Keith got his revenge again after I told an entire audience to not hire people that suck (while showing his photo on screen). I have an awkward feeling that this may get worse. Doesn’t really matter. Anyway.

I finally met Chris Mills in person despite the fact that we were both in Austin last year. It’s good to know that he’s also very excited about the book that Ross and I are writing together on JavaScript. Of course it’s even more difficult that you have to deliver the bad news to other publishers like sitepoint of which I own nearly every poster and book. But it’s all good. Doesn’t really matter. Anyway.

It’s time for me to leave for the airport to come back home. And that really does matter. Anyway…

Did you purposely color coordinate your attire to match the large banner hanging in the background? ;-)
(it’s more noticable in the picture of you speaking).

    Anyway.

cheers mate! Can you tell me if (and when) there will be another CSS naked day? Last year it was on April the 5th (I actually didnt take part to the initiative! DAMN!), so I thought it should be coming up in a while? am I right?

    thanks

Dude it was great to finally meet you in person. Sorry I couldn’t make the breakfast but hopefully if all works out we can have a do-over before next year :) Doesn’t really matter. Anyway…

You’re a cool cat man, sometimes tough to get a read on but that doesn’t really matter. Anyway…

    I’m out. Later.

Mike, it was great to meet as well. I wouldn’t worry about the breakfast. There were plenty of other times we had drinking. Good times. ’til next year :)

Hi, we met at the closing party at SX. Just thought I would say hi and let you know I bought your book. Very impressive! Although, as a woman (and wife and mommy) I really want updates on your wife and her school and upcoming babies. Although, if I have web design questions I could use that help too! It was mice to meet you.

ok, met so many people at Sx that I think I got you mixed up with someone. Just ignore the above. but still, it would have been nice to meet you!

Nice to meet you! On my way back through the airport, I’m pretty sure Dave and I spotted you snoozing at your gate. Hope you didn’t sleep through boarding :)
