Now “./with Archives”

Wednesday, May 16th, 2007

I’ve put this off for a very, very, very long time. But now ./with Imagination has an archives page. Yay! So with out further ado, the ./with Imagination Archives! In full tag cloud flavor starting from the very beginning, sorted by date, using comments as my “quality” indicator. Also be sure to see my 30″ screenshot of the cloud on flickr. Cheers.

    Wow, I can’t believe this:

    http://www.dustindiaz.com/add-and-remove-html-elements-dynamically-with-javascript

Has 233 comments! And still going!

It is a bit funny. I look back at some of the really old archives and I just have to laugh at some of my code habits and awkward programming techniques I put into practice. My how things have changed. The thing is, I don’t ever want to close comments, but on the flip side, I don’t ever want to answer old comments either when new ones come in.

    Sweet!
One thing to note… the link to the Archives is not available when viewing an article. From the home page, I see the link in the upper right corner, but on the page for this article, the link is missing.

Green is your signature colour, but that big page filled with GIANT BRIGHT GREEN TEXT is kinda hard to take. Maybe you could reserve green for the popular, or under rated posts, and make the rest white.

I came on this site few weeks ago searching for a javascript toltip script…

But after i’ve read your post i realize that it’s out of date and not so closer to the actual web trend.

But All this site is amazing for a beginner like me thirsty for in deep articles about OO JavaScript Programming…

What I’m try to say is that a special tag like deprecate can be placed where it can be useful, for example now librarys like prototype or mootools (the one i choose) are more interesting…

But all this can sound like I don’want it sounds, i’want only tell you about an user experience: this site is not easy to surf….

Ok, i say it… excuse my bad english

Thanks for sharing what you know mate, you deserve every bit of where you are today. You are one of those that makes me get up and go and learn something new.. so I can get one step closer.

    cheers.

Title font size on Archives page depends on number of comments or entry popularity?

If you're about to post code in your comment, please wrap your code with the tag-combo <pre><code>. Also please escape your html entities - otherwise they will be stripped out. I recommend using postable.
